Nase:
Der 2022er Bianco di Ampeleia aus maischevergorenen Trebbiano-Trauben macht bereits in der Nase eine Ansage. Sein Duft ist fulminant und intensiv. Weinbergspfirsich, Orange, Aprikosenkompott, Honig und Ingwer vermischen sich mit duftigen Blüten und malzigen Getreidenoten, ein Hauch heller Tabak umrandet diesen spannenden Duft.

Gaumen:
Frische, Frische, Frische, das erwartet uns am Gaumen. Noten von Apfel und Zitrus, feine Säure und eine salzige Spur – er schwebt förmlich und das bei lediglich 11 Vol% Alkohol, dabei doch so kraftvoll und tiefgründig, wie Labsal für die Seele, ein wahrlich wohltuender Tropfen. Wer ihn mit Speisen kombiniert, tut gut daran, auf Zutaten mit ausgeprägtem Eigengeschmack zurückzugreifen und diese möglichst naturbelassen zuzubereiten.

Dekantiert, nicht zu kalt aus einem großen Glas trinken.

Info zum Wein:
Trebbiano 90%, Malvasia 5%, Ansonica 5% gewachsen zwischen 300 und 600m über dem Meeresspiegel, geerntet in der zweiten Septemberwoche mit einem Ertrag von 50hl/ha.

Info zum Ausbau:

6 Monate Vergärung in Betontanks, Kontakt mit den Schalen für 7 Tage. Unfiltriert und Ungeschönt abgefüllt.

One of her best books---and I've read a lot of them. Ginger Stache's contributions were outstanding, too. This book provides so much insight and gives me great peace just from reading it. My main takeaway is that often, you are not the direct target of rejection. It frequently has more to do with the individual doing the rejecting than with the rejected. Also, it can just be God's way of protecting us from a relationship that will ultimately harm us. Highly recommend this book.
