Dieser Teppich kommt aus der persischen Stadt Moud, in der das bekannte Birdjand Knüpfgebiet liegt. Bekannt sind vor allem die Motive, welche aus einem Medaillon mit Herati-Motiv oder einem Gartenmotiv bestehen. Die reine Schurwolle wird oft mit etwas Naturseide geknüpft, sodass die Blumenmotive oder Tiere optisch hervorgehoben werden. Beliebt sind diese Teppiche besonders für ihre Vielseitigkeit, weil sie zu modernen und klassischen Einrichtungsstilen passen.
