This is a yanagiba knife by Seki Magoroku.

The yanagiba is designed for slicing sashimi with long, clean strokes. This item appears to have been stored with minimal use, though slight patina is visible on the back side.

This knife is single-beveled and made of hagane (carbon steel), known for its sharp edge.
Widely used for sushi and sashimi preparation, it allows for smooth, precise cuts essential in sushi restaurants and by sushi chefs.

The knife has been sharpened and is ready to use upon arrival. Please handle with care when unpacking. The price includes the sharpening fee.

It features the engravings "関孫六" (Seki Magoroku) and "銀寿" (Ginju).
