The heart of the bike remains a complete Reynolds 725 frameset, defined by its reliability wherever you ride.
Genesis have however made a few updates to add to the Croix de Fer's versatility.
Features:
- The ability to run up to a 45mm rear tyre and a 50mm front tyre on the provided 700c rims increase the all-terrain ability of the Croix. If you want to experiment with 650B wheels, you could run up to a 44mm rear tyre and a 50mm front tyre.
- Standard QR dropouts mean your 9mm wheelsets can keep turning for another few years - and the practicalities don't end there.
- The drivetrain has been upgraded to Shimano's excellent GRX, featuring a 46/30T double chainset, an 11-34T cassette and RX400 derailleurs for reliable, smooth shifting.
- Tubeless ready rims and tyres, flat mount disc brakes, a third bottle mount, rack and guard mounts and fixings for Anything Cages on the forks complete the package.

I think is a quality wire and affordable

The wire is excellent; its thickness feels appropriate, and it appears to be high quality. I've installed it on my PV array, which delivers over 40 amps DC, and the wire handles this load well. MC4 connectors are not included but are pre-cut for easy installation, and I encountered no problems.

Heavy-Duty 4 AWG Cable With Flexible Insulation
Size: 10ft, Color: 4awg
I am satisfied with this 4 AWG cable. The insulation coating is soft, and the cable itself is very pliable, making it easy to bend and route into the configuration needed for installation. Despite the flexibility, it still feels like a heavy-duty cable designed to handle demanding applications.
I am using this cable to provide the necessary amperage to start the generator on my trailer, and it performs as expected. I also like that the wire gauge and cable properties are clearly printed along the side of the insulation, making identification easy during installation or future maintenance.
The cable arrived in good condition with no obvious odor from the insulation or packaging. Overall, this appears to be a quality heavy-duty cable that is flexible, easy to work with, and suitable for high-current applications.

True copper battery cables that are high quality

I love having heavy duty cable on hand for my cars. It's so nice to be able to make your own starter and alternator cables when restoring cars.
These cables are 100% copper, not CCA (copper clad aluminum) like many others are. Copper is far superior for conductivity and handling higher loads.
The rubber on the cable is thick and yet very flexible..it's clearly marked and seems very durable. I like to use a hydraulic crimping tool and then add marine grade heat shrink tubing with the adhesive inside of it to keep it as weatherproof as possible.

Easy to work with
I bought this to wire up an airplane I built. I had to cut it into 10 separate pieces and crimp and solder lugs to each end. It was just the right length for what I needed and I'm very happy with the results.
