Ontworpen op de rotsachtige, technische paden van Toscane, is de FORMULA Selva V het hoogtepunt van tientallen jaren engineering en praktijkexperimenten. Hij is ontworpen voor veeleisende rijders en heeft een uitzonderlijk reactievermogen, ongeëvenaarde gevoeligheid en consistent gedrag onder alle omstandigheden. Dankzij het nieuwe wrijvingsarme luchtveerontwerp, het lichtere chassis en de beproefde schokdemper biedt de Selva V een zeldzaam soepele rijervaring.

Het hart van deze vork is de volledig nieuwe V-luchtveer. Het zwevende zuigerontwerp vermindert de interne wrijving aanzienlijk en zorgt voor een soepel, consistent gevoel over de hele slag. Een enkel luchtventiel beheert zowel de positieve als de negatieve kamers, wat het afstellen vereenvoudigt. Het concentrische bypassventiel balanceert automatisch de druk tussen de kamers, waardoor de wrijving van traditionele afdichtingen wordt geëlimineerd. Het resultaat: onmiddellijke respons en consistent comfort, zelfs op het meest veeleisende terrein.

Het verfijnde chassis van de Selva V verbetert de stuurprecisie zonder aan comfort in te boeten. De opnieuw ontworpen vorken, gecombineerd met plunjers van 35 mm, zorgen voor een perfecte balans tussen stijfheid en flexibiliteit. Dit ontwerp vermindert de vermoeidheid van de rijder en betekent dat je langer en sneller kunt rijden. Een discreet spatbord voegt een praktisch en esthetisch tintje toe.

De schokdemper, ongewijzigd sinds de vorige generatie, blijft een benchmark. Zijn interne blaasontwerp biedt ultragevoelige respons, constante ondersteuning en bewezen betrouwbaarheid. Bij Formula wordt elke evolutie geleid door prestaties, nooit door trends.

Ten slotte blijft IFT (Internal Floating Technology ) het hart van de Selva V. Door de lucht- en dempingspatronen onafhankelijk van het frame te laten bewegen via interne kogelgewrichten, vermindert het de wrijving en mechanische stress. European pin connection with US outlets and USBs. If you are planning to go to a country with 220V, don't expect to use a 110V extender with a plug connector - it may well burn out (though most electronics will work fine when connected to 220 via their chargers and power supplies). I do have one nitpick - the photos clearly show it charging a macbook and yes, it can but not with a straight cable you still need to plug in the macbook power brick to it. I was hoping to avoid that but this adapter does not have enough wattage to charge a macbook without the brick. Great for use in Italy!
We spent 3 weeks in Italy in May of 2023. This was so easy to use for making sure all of our cell phones and power bricks were fully charged for the next day of discovery while in Italy. Plugged in effortlessly everywhere we stayed in Italy. We used all the charging ports and the USA outlets for two dual voltage power packs (remember the Italian grid is 240VAC not 120VAC like in USA) and my dual voltage CPAP power brick. No problems any where - it worked flawlessly. I would not suggest using it for curling irons or blow dryers or any very high wattage devices and anything you plug into it that does not say dual voltage on the device may be destroyed and possible catch fire! So do be aware of what you use with it as it does not drop the voltage to 120VAC from the 240VAC Italian wall outlets. Nice feature is that it comes with an adapter you can use when you get back to USA so you can use it at home till you pack your bags for the next trip!
