To take advantage of the additional travel offered by the RXT Rear Suspension System, ICON engineers developed a complete replacement for the factory leaf springs after addressing limitations discovered during the R&D process. The result is a user-adjustable, multi-rate leaf pack designed to deliver significant performance gains across a wide range of Toyota Tundra setups. Features such as tip inserts and leaf separators help reduce friction and improve ride comfort, while a military-wrapped front eyelet increases the overall durability and strength of the leaf spring. The spring rate has been slightly lowered to enhance ride quality and increase droop travel. For vehicles equipped with added weight such as bed racks, rooftop tents, spare tires, or other accessories, the included add-a-leaf can be installed or swapped to increase the spring rate by approximately 15 percent or 25 percent, allowing the suspension to better support heavily outfitted trucks.
