The Martin D-X2E, part of the renowned X Series, emerges as an exquisite acoustic-electric guitar, this time showcasing a Ziricote Burst finish on the top and Ziricote pattern HPL for the back and sides. This unique combination not only creates a visually arresting instrument but also maintains the legacy of Martin's craftsmanship.

This guitar's dreadnought body, a hallmark of Martin's design, offers a powerful and expansive sound, well-suited for a variety of musical genres. The Ziricote Burst top, coupled with the Ziricote HPL, lends the guitar a distinctive, eye-catching look, further enhanced by an abalone-patterned rosette that adds a touch of elegance.

Martin's focus on playability is evident in the D-X2E's design. It features a select hardwood neck, fingerboard, and bridge, each thoughtfully shaped for comfortable playing. The fingerboard is notably slender, with a softly beveled edge and fine-tuned string spacing, making it welcoming for players of all levels. The modernized bridge design contributes to the guitar's overall ease of play.

Equipped with Martin's E-1 electronics, the D-X2E is versatile in its sound capabilities. The built-in chromatic tuner ensures precision tuning, while the volume, tone, and phase controls offer ample flexibility for shaping the guitar's sound, whether practicing at home or performing on stage.

With its Ziricote Burst finish and Ziricote HPL back and sides, the Martin D-X2E stands out not only for its stunning appearance but also for its robust sound and playability, embodying the quality and innovation that Martin Guitars is known for.

This guitar comes with a softshell case. Most new Martin Guitars ship with the original endpin not installed, if you'd like us to install one for you before shipping, please let us know and we'd be happy to.

Extremely Overpriced

It doesn’t hold charge too long , especially if it’s not on a perfectly bright sunny day without clouds. Even at that , It will only be able to light up for maybe two or three hours at best , and not very bright at all. Construction and materials are of good quality that’s why the one start or else zi would gave given a zero if i could. it is way overpriced for what it is. I am disappointed for what I paid and the amount of production I get from it. Would have returned it if I haven’t installed them and threw away the boxes.

Very durable and designed to last a long time

I've had a pair of these lights for 7-8 years and would still be using them with no issues if a naughty racoon hadn't taken an interest in them and broken the glass on one of them. I was delighted to find that the identical looking ones (operate slightly differently) were still available. They are extremely simple to put together (just screw together the durable metal pieces) and turn them on to the chosen brightness. It couldn't be much simpler. I also have other Gama Sonic solar lights and they are every bit as good.
