By Dan McCall. 2009. Inspired by George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty Four

In the book the world is divided by three powers that are in constant state of rotating alliance, within a perpetual state of war that serves to mollify the population into obedience.

From one of the more important tracts of the book:

Since about that time, war had been literally continuous, though strictly speaking it had not always been the same war. For several months during his childhood there had been confused street fighting in London itself, some of which he remembered vividly. But to trace out the history of the whole period, to say who was fighting whom at any given moment, would have been utterly impossible, since no written record, and no spoken word, ever made mention of any other alignment than the existing one. At this moment, for example, in 1984 (if it was 1984), Oceania was at war with Eurasia and in alliance with Eastasia. In no public or private utterance was it ever admitted that the three powers had at any time been grouped along different lines. Actually, as Winston well knew, it was only four years since Oceania had been at war with Eastasia and in alliance with Eurasia. But that was merely a piece of furtive knowledge, which he happened to possess because his memory was not satisfactorily under control. Officially the change of partners had never happened. Oceania was at war with Eurasia: therefore Oceania had always been at war with Eurasia. The enemy of the moment always represented absolute evil, and it followed that any past or future agreement with him was impossible. (Chapter 3, Nineteen Eighty Four. George Orwell.)

Looks, fits and works great. Helps to keep the fan free to flow, and clears up desk space. Once you get one of these, you’ll probably never go back.

Looks beautiful and holds my MacBook Air safely while it’s charging or resting. Going to buy another for my iPad. Heavy, well made using real wood and solid metal and is very adjustable. Outstanding product made with love and care!

Product Quality.
Color: Walnut
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ “This stand is sturdy, stylish, and keeps my desk clutter‑free. The walnut wood and aluminum design looks premium, and the dual slots fit both my laptop and tablet securely. A bit pricier than basic stands, but worth it for the quality and organization.”

Attractive and Functional
Color: Walnut
I bought this to prop up my MacBook Pro M2 to save space on my desk while I am using a dock. The base is nicely adjustable, and holds the laptop securely. Sturdy metal base and attractive wood side pieces. My MacBook has never felt like it might tip, and I have a cat who squeezes past it to reach my office window multiple times per day. If you like the look, I'd highly recommend it for functionality.

Great Tray For Storing My Everyday Carries
Size: 8.5" x 5.8" x 1.9", Color: Black
My everyday carry items (wallet, keys, etc.), used to just get thrown around wherever when I'd get home, but this little tray makes a great, defined, space for me to keep those things when I don't need them on me. The soft lining reduces the obnoxious sound of throwing keys on a hard surface, and of course keeps me from scratching up a surface. The build feels quality and I haven't seen any damage to it yet. Also the all black version with gold buckle looks quite good and adds a subtle touch of luxury. Absolute recommend for the price.
