This upgraded version maintains the 2.91" optic centerline for rapid target acquisition while introducing several key improvements. The V2 model features a shorter back base to allow flip-to-center magnifiers to be positioned closer to the optic, enhanced cable management with a wider pass-through, and a strengthened neck for increased durability. Constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum with custom heat-treated, black nitrided stainless steel hardware, the Hydra V2 offers superior performance and longevity. The mount's elevated design promotes a "heads up" shooting posture, improving situational awareness and body armor positioning.
